Enviro Infra Engineers Forays into RE Sector by Acquiring 69 MW Solar Power Projects
Enviro Infra Engineers, a wastewater treatment EPC player, has marked its entry into the renewable energy sector with the acquisition of two solar power projects totalling 69 MW (AC) capacity across Odisha and Maharashtra.

Wastewater treatment EPC company Enviro Infra Engineers has forayed into the renewables sector with the acquisition of two solar power projects with a cumulative capacity of 69 MW (AC).
The company has acquired Vento Power Infra for a 40 MW solar power project in Odisha and Soltrix Energy Solution for a 29 MW solar power project in Maharashtra.
Commenting on the development, Sanjay Jain, Chairman and Whole Time Director, Enviro Infra Engineers, said, “With these Projects, the company has officially entered the renewable energy sector, aligning with its long-term vision for sustainable, clean, and future-ready growth. The company remains focused on delivering high-quality, timely, and sustainable energy solutions while upholding the highest standards of engineering excellence and governance.”
The first project in Odisha has been acquired from PTC India Financial Services under a competitive auction process. “The project involves the development of a 40 MW (AC) grid-connected solar power plant in the Bolangir District of Odisha, wherein the solar power generation shall be sold at a tariff of INR 4.10 per unit for a period of approximately 18 years. The acquisition cost for this project is INR 115.61 crores. Further, the project has already achieved Partial Commercial Operation Date (PCOD),” the company shared in a statement.
The second company – Soltrix Energy Solution was acquired through the company’s wholly-owned subsidiary EIE Renewables. Soltrix has been awarded a 29 MW (AC) solar power project by the Government of Maharashtra through the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company Ltd. (MSEDCL).
This project involves comprehensive execution, including design, financing, engineering, procurement, construction, operation, and maintenance. The project is supported by State Financial Assistance (SFA) of INR 3.20 crore/MW, resulting in Aggregate SFA of INR 92.80 crore, with a tariff-based revenue of INR 0.88 per unit over a period of 25 years.
