Enlog has been named among the winners of the Energy Transitions Innovation Challenge (ENTICE) 2.0, a flagship programme of the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP), which was announced at the Alliance in Action Convening held recently in New Delhi.
The convening brought together key stakeholders including innovators, investors, and distribution companies (DISCOMs) to advance India’s clean energy transition. It featured the announcement of winning startups, the launch of the Digitalisation of Utilities for Energy Transition (DUET) program with BSES Rajdhani Power Ltd., and the signing of multiple MoUs with investment partners to scale up promising clean-tech solutions.
Enlog was recognised for its pioneering work in energy intelligence, which leverages smart meter data to generate actionable appliance-level insights and digital twins. Its patented plug-and-play IoT device, integrated with AI, enables households and businesses to optimise electricity consumption, extend appliance life, and reduce costs, without requiring manual effort.
Commenting on this, Enlog said in its social media post, "Our work in energy intelligence, turning smart meter data into actionable appliance-level insights and digital twins, was celebrated for its impact and scalability. This recognition is not the finish line but a starting point. We’re excited to keep partnering with DISCOMs, smart meter providers, and the broader climate-tech ecosystem to make India’s distribution network smarter, faster, and more sustainable.”
Alongside Enlog, Flock Energy was awarded for its AI-powered platform that disaggregates smart meter data into appliance-level insights, while Trillectric and Faclon Labs won under the second ENTICE 2.0 challenge.
Trillectric’s modular system analyses smart meter data to detect inefficiencies and enhance industrial flexibility, while Faclon Labs integrates AI, Big Data, and energy systems, leveraging 400+ projects to deliver real-time diagnostics, anomaly detection, and demand forecasting across India.
To speed up the use of these solutions, investment partners like AWE Funds, Synapses, Theia Ventures, ZeCa Capital, Spectrum Impact, and Ankur Capital signed agreements promising financial support and help with implementation, pending further review.
Felicitating the winners, Gurdeep Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of NTPC, said, “Innovation thrives when diverse minds come together to challenge conventions and co-create solutions. The Alliance in Action event demonstrates how constructive disruptors can address some of our toughest energy challenges, turning today’s problems into tomorrow’s possibilities.”
Woochong Um, CEO of GEAPP, added, “India’s strides in clean energy show how innovation and strong policy support can drive transformation. The urgency of the climate challenge demands collaborative action, where governments, businesses, civil society, and philanthropy come together to unlock capital, deploy solutions, and share knowledge at scale.”
The event also featured a fireside chat with Ashish Khanna, Director General of the International Solar Alliance; Woochong Um, and Saurabh Kumar, Vice President, India, GEAPP, on the role of the Multi Donor Trust Fund in mobilizing solar investments. A panel on “Economic Development through Decentralised Renewable Energy” followed, moderated by Samit Mitra, Managing Director, Country Delivery (India), GEAPP.
Looking ahead, GEAPP announced the upcoming ENTICE 3.0, which will expand its focus on deep-tech innovation, grid resilience, and digitalisation-driven efficiency, reinforcing India’s position as a leader in the global renewable energy transition.
