Enlight Metals has commenced the manufacturing of solar mounting structures through a contract manufacturing model strengthening its focus on clean energy. These are precision-engineered products, designed to support large-scale solar installations.
The company’s offering focuses on delivering high-quality, durable structural components that form the backbone of solar projects. With increasing demand for long-lasting and reliable infrastructure, Enlight Metals aims to address critical gaps in the performance and lifecycle of mounting systems.
The company’s initial product portfolio includes roll-formed solar mounting structures such as C-channels, Z-sections, slotted angles, and structural pipes. Manufactured using advanced grades of Galvalume steel, including AZ150, AZ180, and AZ200, these structures offer enhanced corrosion resistance and are engineered to deliver consistent performance across diverse environmental conditions.
Enlight Metals is leveraging a contract manufacturing model supported by a strong network of partners across key industrial hubs such as Pune, Raipur, and Faridabad. This approach enables faster turnaround time, optimised logistics, and improved cost efficiencies for clients across regions.
Built using solar-grade steel with yield strengths exceeding 550 MPa, the structures are designed for durability and long-term usage, supporting project lifecycles of over 25 years. The company is also integrating technology-led capabilities such as AI-driven demand forecasting and real-time supply chain optimisation to enhance operational efficiency and reduce material wastage.
Commenting on the development, Vedant Goel, Director, Enlight Metals, said, “India’s renewable energy growth is creating a strong need for reliable and high-performance solar infrastructure. At Enlight Metals, we are focused on manufacturing quality-driven mounting structures that enhance durability and long-term performance. Through our technology-led approach and focus on advanced materials, we aim to deliver solutions that create sustained value for developers and contribute to building a robust clean energy ecosystem.”
With a strong emphasis on sustainability and operational efficiency, the company’s use of high-durability materials supports long-term ESG goals by minimising replacement cycles and improving overall lifecycle performance.
Going forward, Enlight Metals plans to expand its product range to include complementary solutions such as cable trays and pre-engineered building (PEB) components.
