Engie, NHPC, SJVN Among Winners of GUVNL's 1125 MW Solar e-Reverse Auction

Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd. (GUVNL) successfully concluded the e- Reverse Auction for 1125 MW Grid Connected Solar Photovoltaic Power Projects. The competitive bidding process, aimed at augmenting Gujarat's sustainable energy capacity, saw participation from industry leaders.
Engie secured the top position in the auction by clinching a 200 MW allotment at an tariff of INR 2.62/kWh.

Notably, other key winners in the auction include NHPC, JSW Neo Energy, SJVN, and NTPC. NHPC secured a 200 MW allotment with a tariff of INR 2.66/kWh, while JSW Neo Energy secured 300 MW at the same tariff. Similarly, SJVN Green Energy Limited and NTPC Renewable Energy Limited each secured 200 MW and 225 MW respectively, both at a tariff of INR 2.66 per kWh.
The projects are set to be established at Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited's (GSECL) RE Park at Khavda (GSECL Stage-3) without energy storage, contributing significantly to the state's clean energy goals.
