Enerparc Energy Private Limited bags order for 5.7MWp Solar PV at Delhi International Airport

Enerparc Energy has announced the receipt of prestigious order from Delhi International Airport Limited (DIAL) for setting up 5.7 MWp solar power plant including contract for operating and maintaining plant for next ten years at T3 terminal.

This order for Enerparc is repeat order after successful execution of their first project of 2.14 MWp at DIAL which was the first solar project on airside of any Indian airport, built 160 meters away from centre of runway and commissioned in Jan 2014 and now also being maintained.Current project of 5.7MWp is spread over slightly less than 25 acres of land on North of runway 29-11 in-between taxiways ‘Y’ and ‘Z’. In spite of tough working conditions on airport premises, especially on airside, substantial progress has been achieved on ground including clearance for installation from DGCA post a “Glare analysis” and mechanical installation has already reached to advanced stages

Enerparc worldwide has wide experience and knowledge in handling solar projects especially on runway side of airport with more than 270MWp projects executed as on date only on airport premises including various installations in Europe and India. In India, Enerparc together with DIAL pioneered this concept of installing solar project on the airside with India’s first ever solar project on airside commissioned in January 2014.
