India-based e-mobility brand EMotorad has unveiled its latest electric cycle, the Viper, positioning it as its most performance-focused and design-forward model yet.

Priced at INR 66,999, the new offering blends a bold moto-style aesthetic with practical commuting features, targeting riders seeking both style and functionality.

At the heart of the Viper is a 48V 250W rear hub motor paired with a 48V 15.6Ah removable battery, delivering a claimed range of up to 85 km with pedal assist and 70 km on throttle mode. The e-cycle is designed for versatility, allowing riders to switch between riding modes depending on terrain and effort.

The Viper stands out with an industry-first NFC-based unlocking system, enabling a tap-to-unlock experience without traditional keys. It also features a Cluster C9 display, hydraulic disc brakes with auto cut-off, and a Shimano 7-speed drivetrain, ensuring control and adaptability across riding conditions.

Built for comfort and stability, the cycle comes equipped with 20-inch fat tyres, dual suspension (100mm front and 40mm rear), and a high tensile steel frame. Additional features such as DRL lighting, a 420-lux front lamp, and integrated rear lighting enhance visibility and safety.

Designed for riders 5’2” and above, the Viper supports a maximum load of 110 kg, making it suitable for both daily commutes and longer rides. The model is available through EMotorad’s dealership network, its official website, and major e-commerce platforms including Amazon and Flipkart.
