Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, Vikram Solar, and ReNew have emerged as winners in NTPC Renewable Energy's (NTPC REL) tender to supply 1.58 GW of crystalline solar bifacial modules for projects totaling 1,255 MW at the Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat's Kutch district.

In its latest update, Vikram Solar announced securing a 397.7 MWp portion of the project.

According to the tender floated by NTPC REL in September 2023, the winners are tasked with manufacturing, supplying, packing, forwarding, and transporting crystalline solar PV bifacial modules meeting a minimum wattage output of 540 Wp.

These modules fall under the Domestic Content Requirement (DCR) category, supporting NTPC REL’s 4,750 MW Renewable Energy Park in Khavda, Rann of Kutch, Gujarat.

The project comprises four adjacent blocks, with Block 2, secured by Vikram Solar, accounting for 397.7 MWp of the total capacity. The other blocks include Block 1 (391.5 MWp), Block 3 (397.7 MWp), and Block 4 (397.7 MWp), bringing the total capacity for module supply to 1,584.6 MWp.
