Solar solutions provider Emmvee has successfully commissioned a 700 kWp rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project for Balaji Technologies, a leading glass treatment company in Bengaluru.

This 700 kWp solar project has been spread over a rooftop area of 5600 Sq.m and used an aggregate of 2,122 solar modules.

Moreover, the project has an annual energy yield of 1.02 million units (approx) and CO2 saving per annum of 818 tonnes (approx).

Significantly, the project has one of the largest rooftop systems equipped with state of art safety systems to ensure the utmost safety during operation and maintenance of the system.

Also, the project was commissioned on time despite interruptions due to the on-going pandemic.

The company said that, the projects such as Balaji Technologies should only encourage other industries to understand the potential of solar rooftop projects in saving costs on energy bills and conserving the environment. Also, it will help in reaching the ambitious renewable energy target India has set for itself.

The increasing fluctuation in electricity prices and inconsistency in the supply of conventional electricity sources, have lead to the growth of rooftop solar adoption across India, it added.

The adoption of the solar rooftop model will help in saving costs on electricity bills and in providing a reliable, consistent, and sustainable solution to meet the energy needs. It not only help in minimizing the electricity bills but also will help in easily tracking the electricity usage and calculate the estimated cost of generating electricity for another 10 years, the company further said.

Emmvee is one of the premium manufacturers and suppliers of solar PV modules and Solar water heating systems with 25+ years of experience executing RCC rooftop, metal sheds, carports, and curved roof solar projects. It has a manufacturing facility in Bengaluru with a production capacity of 500 MW per day. The company has manufactured and supplied more than 2 GW of PV modules with a strong record of commissioning over 200 MW of solar projects in India and globally.
