Pune-based AI-driven urban mobility platform ElektrikExpress has successfully deployed its first 500 electric delivery vehicles across six major Indian cities, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Pune, Mumbai, and Thane.

As per the firm's statement, the company has also signed Letters of Intent (LOIs) and Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with ten leading quick-commerce partners, as it targets expanding its fleet to over 5,000 electric delivery vehicles by March 2026.

Built on its proprietary MicroLogi logistics intelligence system, ElektrikExpress offers a range of vehicles including Electric Cargo Cycles (ECCs), Electric Two-Wheelers (E2Ws), and 2.5-Wheel Electric Trikes designed for urban logistics and last-mile delivery operations. The company plans to roll out an additional 5,000 vehicles during FY2025–26 to cater to the growing demand in India’s quick-commerce and e-grocery sectors.

In just six months of operations, ElektrikExpress has reduced over 100 tons of CO₂ emissions and enabled livelihoods for more than 300 women riders across its network. Women currently make up nearly 70 percent of its active rider base, underscoring the company’s focus on inclusive, safe, and sustainable mobility.

“We’re building India’s most inclusive and intelligent mobility platform, where safety, sustainability, and livelihood go hand in hand,” said Chintamani Sardesai, Founder and CEO of ElektrikExpress. “ElektrikExpress was never just about vehicles; it’s about people and purpose. With MicroLogi™ ensuring efficiency and Dial4567 enhancing safety, we’re creating a connected, empowered workforce that keeps cities moving responsibly," added Sardesai.

ElektrikExpress has partnered with Helpline Dial4567 Workforce Shield, a comprehensive safety platform offering emergency response, live tracking, and community-based support for riders and gig workers nationwide. The integration of Dial4567 enhances both operational safety and workforce confidence.

During pilot operations, the MicroLogi system demonstrated strong performance by reducing fleet downtime by 30 percent through predictive maintenance and real-time analytics. This AI-powered intelligence allows partners to maximise uptime, lower operating costs, and improve overall fleet reliability.
