European clean energy technology company, Elcogen has announced its expansion into India and the wider Asia-Pacific region with the appointment of Anil Srikar Pavuluri as Business Development Director.

European clean energy technology company, Elcogen has recently appointed Anil Srikar Pavuluri as Business Development Director to further support the market expansion plan for India and the wider Asia-Pacific region.

The move comes as India and Asia-Pacific emerge as major growth engines in the global energy transition. The company's expansion aligns with India’s policy momentum around non-fossil fuel power generation, nuclear capacity growth, higher ethanol blending targets and the planned rollout of a carbon market. These initiatives are accelerating demand for zero-carbon and high-efficiency energy technologies.

The newly appointed Business Development Director at Elcogen, Anil Srikar Pavuluri commented on the scope of energy transition in the Asia-Pacific region. He stated, “Hard-to-abate sectors are energy-intensive and heat-rich, creating ideal conditions for SOEC integration to reduce the cost of hydrogen production. Simultaneously, the rapid growth of data centres and remote microgrids, where hydrogen supply can be paired with on-site power generation, makes SOFCs a strong hydrogen utilisation pathway.”

He further added that with more than two decades of experience in solid oxide technology, high-performance solid oxide cells, stacks and modules and an operational manufacturing capacity of up to 360 MW, he is confident that Elcogen is strategically positioned to enable high-efficiency hydrogen production, clean power generation, and system flexibility - all key pillars of the global energy transition.

Pavuluri brings more than two decades of experience in solid oxide technologies and the power sector, having previously held senior roles at GreenH Electrolysis, Toshiba, and L&T. Based in New Delhi, he will lead regional business development efforts, working closely with partners to scale Elcogen’s clean energy solutions across India and Asia-Pacific.
