Elan Energy Wins PMC Contract for Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s CBG Project in Hubli

The appointment positions Elan Energy to lead project management for Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s waste-to-biogas initiative, which aims to cut landfill burden, boost waste segregation, and advance sustainability across the Hubli–Dharwad urban region.

Elan Energy has been awarded the Project Management Consultancy (PMC) contract for Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s Municipal Solid Waste (MSW)-based Compressed BioGas (CBG) project in Hubli–Dharwad, Karnataka.

The facility will convert 150 TPD of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) into 5.5 TPD of Compressed Biogas (CBG), supporting Bharat Petroleum Corporation’s waste-to-energy roadmap and India’s low-carbon ambitions. 

The project is expected to reduce landfill load, improve waste segregation, and enhance the sustainability of the Hubli–Dharwad urban ecosystem. Under this mandate, Elan Energy will oversee engineering design, procurement assistance, vendor evaluation, construction supervision, commissioning, and performance monitoring ensuring timely and technically compliant project delivery.

Additionally, Elan Energy has secured PMC contracts for 17 CBG projects across India awarded by Bharat Petroleum Corporation.
