Elan Energy Secures PMC Contract from GAIL for 14 TPD CBG Plant in Chhattisgarh

Elan Greentech Energies (Elan Energy) has secured a PMC contract from GAIL (India) for setting up a 14 TPD paddy straw-based compressed biogas plant in Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh, with end-to-end PMC services for a period of two years.

Elan Greentech Energies (Elan Energy) has announced that the company has been awarded a contract from GAIL (India) for providing Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services towards setting up a 14 tons per day (TPD) Compressed Biogas (CBG) plant at Ambikapur, Chhattisgarh.
 
Under this engagement, Elan Energy will provide end-to-end PMC services for the 14 TPD CBG project for a period of two years, the company stated.
 
The Ambikapur CBG project aligns with the Government of India’s focus on promoting alternative fuels, waste-to-energy solutions and rural economic development through the SATAT initiative and related programmes. Elan Energy’s role as PMC for this project underscores the company’s capabilities in delivering complex renewable energy and gas infrastructure projects for Public Sector Clients, it said.
 
Speaking on the development, the company stated that this prestigious assignment from GAIL further strengthens Elan Energy’s position in the compressed biogas and clean energy space and reinforces its commitment to supporting India’s transition towards a low-carbon, gas-based economy.
