EKA Mobility, GreenCell Mobility Consortium Secures 915 E-Bus Order in Hyderabad Under PM E‑DRIVE Scheme
EKA Mobility has secured a LoA to supply and deploy 915 electric buses in Hyderabad, in association with GreenCell Mobility,. The company will execute the project under the Government of India’s CESL-led PM E-DRIVE scheme, which is aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in India.

It will see the rollout of 100, 9m and 815, 12m standard floor non-AC electric buses, designed to cater to diverse urban transit requirements. These fully electric, zero‑emission buses are engineered for efficient, reliable, and passenger‑friendly city operations.

The PM E‑DRIVE scheme is a flagship Government of India initiative aimed at accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles, strengthening domestic manufacturing, and reducing urban pollution.
