Enviro Infra Engineers has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary EIE Renewables has entered into a Share Purchase and Options Agreement for the acquisition of PRA Bihar Bess.
The target company is incorporated to establish and operate as a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for the development and establishment of 37.5 MW/150MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with Viability Gap Funding (VGF) support under Build-Own-Operate & Transfer (BOOT) mode in multiple districts of Bihar, the company stated in a regulatory filing.
Under this arrangement, EIE Renewables has acquired 49 percent of the equity share of the target company, and the remaining 51 percent equity stake shall be acquired within 60 days from the Commercial Operation Date (COD) of the project awarded to the target company.
