EESL, MPUVNL Create Awareness on Accelerating Adoption of Sustainable Solutions for Industries in MP

With an aim to create awareness on energy-efficient technologies and financing options available in Madhya Pradesh, state-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (MPUVNL) hosted a workshop on accelerating the adoption of sustainable solutions for industries.

With an aim to create awareness on energy-efficient technologies and financing options available in Madhya Pradesh, state-run Energy Efficiency Services Ltd (EESL) and Madhya Pradesh Urja Vikas Nigam Ltd (MPUVNL) hosted a workshop on accelerating the adoption of sustainable solutions for industries.

The initiative would help industries in the state to save energy and lower the cost of production.

In the Keynote Address Bhuvnesh Patel, CE, MPUVNL elaborated about the importance of energy efficiency in the industries and the role of EESL and MPUVNL can play to execute the project.

Sharing his insights, Anil Choudhary, Head Operations, EESL said, “energy efficiency has proven to be one of the most potent tools for the global fight against climate change. The industrial sector is slated to be widely benefitted from energy efficiency practices along with advancement in technology. The impact is significant in terms of reducing the emission of CO2. The collective effort of diverse industries adopting and implementing energy conservation measures can accelerate India’s path to a sustainable future.”

At the event, Girja Shankar, Head, Corporate Driven Programmes, EESL, shared his views on how to achieve sustainability through energy efficiency initiatives of EESL under standard package offers for the MSME sector.

Present on the occasion were notable government agencies, financial institutions, designated consumers under BEE’s Perform Achieve and Trade (PAT) scheme, energy services companies, and stakeholders from diverse sectors. Energy-efficient technologies in the steel and cement sector, upgraded technologies on rolling mill, and EESL’s schemes under standard package offer for industries were a few of the topics discussed during the workshop.
