Energy Efficiency Services Limited (EESL), a joint venture of public sector undertakings under the Ministry of Power, invites sealed bids for the 'Annual Rate Contract for supply of 2,000 MW Single Phase Solar Inverters across India.'

This domestic competitive bidding opportunity under a secured e-procurement procedure aims to bolster solar energy infrastructure nationwide.

The deadline for submitting bids for Energy Efficiency Services Limited's (EESL) tender to supply 2,000 MW Single Phase Solar Inverters is set for August 5, 2024, at 11:00 AM IST, both for soft and hard copy submissions. The bid opening for Envelope-1, which includes Packet-I and Packet-II, will commence on the same day at 11:30 AM IST. The schedule for opening Envelope-2 (Price Bid) will be communicated after the evaluation of Envelope-1 bids, in accordance with the Invitation to Bid (ITB). Bidders are required to pay a non-refundable and non-adjustable tender fee of INR 25,000.

As per the document, eligibility will be determined in accordance with the provisions outlined in the bidding documents.

According to the bidding documents, successful bidders must adhere to a strict timeline for designing, manufacturing, testing, and supplying the inverters, as outlined in Section 4 (Part-C). The Letter of Award (LOA) or Notification of Award (NOA) remains valid for one year from the date of issuance, with prices locked in for the entire duration of the rate contract.

Once awarded, suppliers will receive System Generated Release Orders (ROs) or Purchase Orders from EESL, detailing the quantity and delivery locations. They are required to fulfill these orders promptly within the specified timeline, starting from the issuance date of each release or purchase order.

This structured approach aims to ensure efficient and timely delivery of the inverters to end customers, in accordance with the contractual terms detailed in the Request for Proposal (RfP), as per the notice.

The entire bidding process will be conducted at EESL's corporate office, with provisions for attendance by bidders' representatives or online viewing through the designated portal.
