Ecoren Group Signs INR 76,250 Crore MoU with AP Govt for 8 GW RE Projects
Ecoren Group has signed an MoU with the Andhra Pradesh government to invest INR 76,250 crore in developing 8 GW of renewable energy projects and 1.25 MTPA of green molecules.

Ecoren Group has announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Andhra Pradesh to invest INR 76,250 crore for large-scale renewable energy projects in the state.
Under the MoU, the company will develop 8 GW of renewable energy capacity along with 1.25 MTPA of green molecules, positioning Andhra Pradesh as a key player in India’s emerging green industrial ecosystem.
The MoU was exchanged during the CII Partnership Summit 2025 in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.
The initiative is projected to create over 12,000 direct and indirect jobs, boosting regional development while reinforcing India’s decarbonisation goals.
“A big thank you to the Government of Andhra Pradesh and the CII Partnership Summit team for their support and vision. We are excited to partner in building a greener, more resilient future for the region and the country,” the company stated in a social media post.
In April 2025, the company signed an MoU with the Telangana government to set up 3,279 MW wind-solar hybrid projects, 1,650 MWp floating solar projects and 650 MWp ground-mounted solar projects in the state. The company committed an investment of about INR 27,000 crore.
Ecoren Energy has solidified its presence as EPC and IPP in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka, with over 1.5 GW commissioned and contracts secured for 5 GW of upcoming projects, the company stated. It has set a target of 30 GW by 2030.
