Eaton Releases its 2022 Sustainability Report, Unveils Substantial Progress Towards 2030 Sustainability Goals

Intelligent power management entity Eaton released its 2022 Sustainability Report. The report attributes the company’s crucial breakthrough toward its 2030 sustainability goals.
Eaton’s 2022 report showcases more transparency and reporting diligence than ever before, comprising the company’s progress-thinking approach to climate-related risks and opportunities, through its Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) section, involved directly in the report.
The report projects that Eaton is ahead or on pace to fulfill several of its targets comprising reduced GHG emissions by 27 percent in its operations since 2018 through increased energy efficiency, energy conservation, and shifts to renewable energy.

Invested around USD 900 million in research and development for sustainable solutions since 2020, up from USD 528 million in 2021.
Certified 8 percent of manufacturing sites as zero water discharge, focusing on sites in water-stressed areas.
Certified 75 percent of manufacturing sites as zero waste to landfill, pushing the company closer to its goal to certify 100 percent by 2030.
