Power management company Eaton today announced the launch of E-Line Contactor Family – the world’s smallest and most efficient IEC Contactor. The powerful, yet compact innovative series will help OEMs and designers to reduce panel size and impact on environment.
Within this innovative series, Eaton brings to its customers Contactors XTCG, Control relay XTRG and Thermal overload relays XTOD. E-Line incorporates latest principles of arc-science and technology, which enabled the engineering team to focus on limiting contact bounce, making it one of the most reliable contactors in the world. By reducing contact bounce and mechanical impact, it extends the life of a contactor without additional material and increase in size. Its arc chamber structure is designed to reduce the impact of switching arcs on the power contacts, yielding a more reliable design.
“It is Eaton’s priority to offer our customers trouble free operations,” says Syed Sajjadh Ali, managing director – India, Electrical Sector, Eaton. “The E-Line Contactors combines advanced science, better performance and greater efficiency in a compact package and improves the reliability and efficiency of the machines.” Ali adds.
The E-Line is tested and certified to meet GB 14048, IEC/EN 60947, CCC and CE standards. These products offer space saving, enhanced reliability, more effective use of materials and precision motor protection. Its arc-chamber structure is designed to reduce the impact of switching arcs on the power contacts, yielding a more consistent design.
Eaton’s electrical sector is a global leader with expertise in power distribution and circuit protection; backup power protection; control and automation; lighting and security; structural solutions and wiring devices; solutions for harsh and hazardous environments; and engineering services. Eaton is positioned through its global solutions to answer today’s most critical electrical power management challenges.
