Eaton Acquires 50% Stake in Jiangsu Huineng’s Circuit Breaker Business

Dublin-based Eaton announced the signing of an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in Jiangsu Huineng Electric’s circuit breaker business, which produces and markets low-voltage circuit breakers in China and had revenues of $35 million in 2021.

Dublin-based Eaton announced the signing of an agreement to acquire a 50% stake in Jiangsu Huineng Electric’s circuit breaker business, which produces and markets low-voltage circuit breakers in China and had revenues of $35 million in 2021.

Jiangsu Huineng is a Chinese high-tech electrical equipment maker with an alluring portfolio that consists of breakers for renewable energy applications. Incepted in 2007 and based in Zhenjiang, China, its products are widely used and recognized across key markets including wind and solar and power plants.

Having started in 1911, Eaton is an intelligent power management company committed to enhancing the quality of life and protecting the environment for people.
