With another uptick in sales momentum, electric two-wheeler brand ‘Joy e-bike’ manufacturer WardWizard Innovations and Mobility has reported significant growth of 446 per cent to 945 units sold during July 2021, mainly on account of rising demand for low–speed models.

The electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer had sold 173 units during the same period a year ago.

Commenting on the steady growth in the business, Sneha Shouche, Chief Financial Officer at WardWizard Innovations and Mobility Ltd, said, “the announcement of incentives and subsidies by authorities have pushed the growth of electric vehicles by many folds. With more awareness campaigns on sustainable mobility and a continuous rise in fuel prices, we have noticed a quick shift in demand by the customers for electric two-wheelers to meet their daily commuting needs. For many, the electric two-wheeler has become their first preference for mobility. As the infrastructure continues to grow, we are receiving high demand from urban and semi-urban regions. Moving forward with the positive market sentiments, we are confident of robust sales momentum, especially in the upcoming festival season.”

The company is a leading auto manufacturing company in the EV segment and also caters to the home appliance market via its brand Vyom Innovation.

Being the first listed entity on BSE in EV manufacturing, it is mainly focused on the growth potential in the Indian EV segment to provide clean and greener alternatives to the existing usage of mobility. Conversely, Vyom Innovations’ focus is on providing consumers with energy-efficient home appliances that are also aimed at a greener ecosystem. It has footprints in over 25 major cities across India and aspires to boost this number throughout the country.
