Dhruv Academy, Sangamner is one of the most popular schools in Maharashtra. It is stretched out over an area of 18 acres, and has a state of the art design of the campus. The school also earned an award for the Best Architecture in 2010. It is truly an ideal setting for students to learn and grow.
The school serves as a 'home away from home' to more than 840 students along with 72 faculty members. The school is located in Sangamner, Maharashtra.

Sunshot has recently installed a solar power plant on the rooftop of the campus buildings. Following are some fact pointers about the solar power plant:

Plant Capacity: 92.16 kWp

Annual power generation: 1.33 Lakh units

Annual green house gases emission reduction: 110 tonnes

The system is spread across 3 rooftops of the campus. It has been installed under the net metering system. In this, the extra power generated during holidays is injected in the MSEDCL grid and the school avails a set-off in its power bill on a monthly basis.

The solar power plant is a best example for young minds to see and know how green energy is generated and utilised. We hope the solar power plant creates a positive and clean environment for the students as it helps in developing a sustainable campus.
