Deye Launches SG06 Hybrid Inverter, GB-W Battery System and ORION E Series ESS at Intersolar Europe 2026

Deye has unveiled new residential and commercial energy storage solutions, including the SG06 hybrid inverter, GB-W battery system, and ORION E Series ESS, at Intersolar Europe 2026.

At Intersolar Europe 2026, Deye showcased three key new products - SG06 Series single-phase hybrid inverter for the residential segment, GB-W Battery System for residential, and commercial and industrial (C&I) segment, and ORION E Series GE-F128/256 energy storage systems for the C&I segment.
 
The company presented its latest generation of intelligent energy storage and hybrid inverter technologies, showcasing a fully integrated ecosystem that spans residential and C&I applications. These products demonstrated Deye’s continuous innovation in high-efficiency conversion, modular scalability, and multi-layer safety architecture, all supported by Deye Cloud, focused on real-time remote monitoring, intelligent system operation, and streamlined O&M for energy storage systems and power plants, stated the company.
 
New-Generation Residential Hybrid Inverter Launch: SG06 Series Single-Phase Hybrid Inverter
The next-generation SG06 Series made its global debut at Intersolar Europe 2026, bringing a significant leap forward in performance, compactness, and system intelligence compared to previous generations. While retaining its high-efficiency conversion and Deye Energy Management System, the SG06 Series introduces substantial structural and functional upgrades that directly enhance real-world deployment value. The maximum grid bypass current is increased by 42.9 percent, enabling the system to handle higher instantaneous load surges with greater stability and reliability during peak consumption conditions.
 
At the same time, the inverter achieves a 41.8 percent reduction in weight and a 39.2 percent reduction in volume, significantly simplifying transportation, wall-mounted installation, and on-site handling, while also improving thermal design efficiency within a more compact footprint. In addition, the permissible installation altitude is increased by 50 percent, expanding applicability to high-altitude regions and ensuring stable performance across more diverse global environments.
 
Beyond hardware optimisation, the SG06 Series also delivers strong system-level flexibility. It supports up to 16 units in parallel operation, enabling scalable system expansion for larger residential clusters or distributed energy projects with evolving capacity needs. The system is also compatible with diesel generator integration, providing a reliable hybrid energy backup structure for regions with unstable grid conditions or high energy cost sensitivity. With Time-of-Use (TOU) energy management modes, users can optimise electricity costs by intelligently scheduling charging and discharging according to tariff variations. In addition, AC coupling support allows seamless integration with existing PV systems, making retrofit projects significantly easier without requiring full system replacement.
 
These enhancements, combined with its improved power handling, compact design, and intelligent control via Deye Cloud and AI-based Deye Copilot, position SG06 as a highly adaptable and future-ready residential energy solution designed for global deployment scenarios, asserted the company.
 
2.56kWh and 5.12kWh Micro Hybrid ESS – Redefining Plug-and-Play Home Storage
Alongside its flagship systems, Deye also introduced the 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh Micro Hybrid ESS, all-in-one energy storage solutions designed for ultra-simple deployment and flexible residential applications, especially in apartments, balconies, and small households. Integrating a Micro Hybrid Inverter functionality with a lithium battery module in a single streamlined unit, the system significantly reduces installation complexity while enabling true plug-and-play energy access.
 
Despite its small footprint, it supports intelligent hybrid operation with seamless coordination between PV input, battery storage, and grid supply, ensuring stable power delivery for essential loads and daily usage scenarios. With built-in smart energy management, high-efficiency conversion performance, and compatibility with Deye’s cloud-based monitoring ecosystem, the 2.56kWh Micro Hybrid ESS extends Deye’s residential portfolio into lightweight, entry-level energy storage applications, making clean energy more accessible and practical for a broader range of users while maintaining the same focus on safety, reliability, and intelligent control, stated the company.
 
In multiple application scenarios, the system adapts naturally to diverse living environments, including:
  • Urban balconies: maximising the value of small-scale PV systems by powering daily essentials such as lighting, Wi-Fi routers, laptops, and kitchen appliances during peak tariff hours.
  • Compact apartments: serving as a quiet and stable backup power source during grid interruptions, ensuring refrigerators, communication devices, and security systems continue operating smoothly.
  • Weekend cabins, tiny homes, and mobile living setups: providing a dependable energy supply that reduces reliance on diesel generators or unstable grid conditions.
  • Shared rental spaces: enabling tenants to achieve a level of energy independence without complex installation or structural modifications, making clean energy access more flexible and accessible.
 
Responding to the rapidly growing demand for balcony PV and lightweight plug-in storage solutions, Deye also introduces both 2.56kWh and 5.12kWh micro storage systems. As an upgraded evolution of the micro storage lineup, the 5.12kWh version builds on the brand’s well-recognised DNA of “plug-and-play usability” and “stackable expansion,” while delivering a significant leap in energy capacity and endurance performance. With its larger usable energy reserve, the 5.12kWh system enables standard apartment households to significantly increase self-consumption of solar energy without complex grid modifications, providing longer-lasting and more reliable backup power support for daily living needs.
 
Flexible Storage for Residential and Light C&I Applications: ORION W Series GB-W High-Voltage Stacked Battery
The GB-W Battery System is designed as a highly adaptable and service-friendly energy storage solution for residential and small commercial scenarios, where reliability, safety, and ease of deployment are essential. Its modular stackable architecture supports 5 to 16 battery packs per cluster, offering a capacity range from 60 to 192 kWh while maintaining flexible scalability for future expansion.
 
The system features a detachable maintenance cover that enables direct on-cluster servicing, significantly improving operational convenience. Engineered with a dust-proof structure and cell temperature deviation controlled within 4°C, it ensures stable thermal performance even under demanding conditions. With C4 anti-corrosion protection, 1C continuous charge and discharge capability, and a stackable modular design, the GB-W system delivers a balanced combination of durability, efficiency, and ease of installation, making it an ideal choice for distributed energy storage applications requiring long-term reliability and simplified maintenance, asserted the company.
 
Next-Generation C&I Energy Storage Solution for Safe, Stable and Intelligent Power Supply: ORION E Series GE-F128/256
The ORION E Series GE-F128/256 is engineered for demanding C&I environments where safety, stability, and long-term reliability are critical. It integrates a six-layer safety architecture, including electrical isolation with instant fault protection, 24/7 fire detection and suppression, active exhaust for gas dilution, explosion venting, dual fire suppression systems, and thermal isolation design to prevent thermal propagation.
 
In addition, it adopts cluster-level, battery pack-level, and cell-level energy balancing technology, improving system consistency, extending lifecycle performance, and maximising usable energy output. The system operates in a wide temperature range from -30°C to 55°C, with IP55 protection and C5 anti-corrosion capability, making it suitable for harsh outdoor applications. It is also designed for seamless integration with Deye inverters, enabling flexible and scalable system deployment, stated the company.
 
For large-scale industrial park applications, Deye presents a complete solution combining a 125kW three-phase high-voltage hybrid inverter with the GE-F256 outdoor battery cabinet. The inverter supports up to 2× PV oversizing and 10 MPPT inputs, improving energy yield in complex rooftop conditions, while allowing up to 10 units in parallel for megawatt-scale system expansion. With UPS-level seamless switching and 150 percent overload capability, the system ensures stable operation under heavy loads and grid fluctuations. It is also compliant with TÜV Rheinland EN 50549-2 standards, ensuring strong grid compatibility and safety performance.
 
In combination with GE-F256, the solution forms a modular and scalable architecture that supports capacity expansion through both inverter parallelisation and battery cabinet stacking, enabling flexible deployment for evolving project requirements.
 
These new products, displayed at Intersolar Europe 2026, focus on delivering higher efficiency, stronger system stability, and greater flexibility in real-world deployment, enabling users to better manage energy costs and improve energy independence for residential and C&I segments, stated the company.
