Desco Infratech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with KPI Green Hydrogen and Ammonia and Naveriya Gas to pioneer Hydrogen-Natural Gas Blending Projects in the City Gas Distribution (CGD) sector.
This partnership is a key step in building green infrastructure and supporting India’s clean energy transition. This collaboration aims to reduce that reliance and move closer to the vision of Aatmanirbhar Bharat.
Under this collaboration, KPI Green Hydrogen will produce green hydrogen, while Desco Infratech will contribute its engineering and technological expertise to blend hydrogen with natural gas. Naveriya Gas will then integrate this blended fuel into its CGD network, ensuring a sustainable and reliable energy supply.
By combining hydrogen with natural gas, the initiative will lower carbon emissions, utilise existing infrastructure efficiently and support India’s pledge toward net-zero emissions. More importantly, it marks a step toward an energy-secure and self-reliant India.
Through this alliance, Desco Infratech reinforces its role as an engineering powerhouse committed to developing lifelines that are not only efficient, but also sustainable and future-ready.
Malhar P Desai, Whole Time Director, Desco Infratech, said, “This partnership is a responsibility we owe to future generations. Together, we are blending innovation with sustainability to power a greener, stronger India.”
