Delta Electronics, a Taiwan-headquartered firm specailising  in power management and smart green solutions, has introduced its latest innovations tailored for the AI era, emphasising sustainability under the theme 'Artificial Intelligence x Greening Intelligence.'

At COMPUTEX 2025, which was held recently in Taiipei, Taiwan, Delta showcased its newly launched AI containerised data center, a compact 20-foot unit integrating power, cooling, and IT equipment designed for efficient edge computing. This modular solution allows rapid deployment, ideal for AI workloads in remote locations and enterprise edge nodes.

In addition, Delta announced new certification for its in-rack coolant distribution unit (CDU) designed for NVIDIA’s GB200 NVL72 GPUs, enhancing in-rack cooling solutions for demanding AI hardware. To address growing power needs, Delta revealed an innovative 800V High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) power architecture for AI data centers, alongside advanced microgrid solutions aimed at strengthening grid resilience and promoting renewable energy integration.

Ping Cheng, Delta’s Chairman and CEO, highlighted the company’s commitment to balancing soaring AI computing demands with sustainability goals by optimizing power architectures and reducing energy conversion losses. “Our containerized data centers and HVDC solutions enable enterprises to deploy AI infrastructure quickly while minimizing environmental impact,” he said.

Benjamin Lin, President of Delta Electronics India, emphasized the relevance of these solutions in India’s rapidly growing tech ecosystem, aligning with national initiatives like the Digital India and green data center missions. “Our technologies support India’s vision for a sustainable, high-performance digital future,” he noted.

Delta’s portfolio includes Core Shell Liquid-Cooled Busbars and advanced liquid-to-liquid cooling systems capable of delivering up to 1,500 kW cooling capacity, alongside rack-level CDUs supporting up to 200 kW. These innovations provide robust thermal management for next-generation AI chips, ensuring stable and efficient operation.

Kelvin Huang, VP and General Manager of Delta’s ICT Infrastructure Business Group, explained the strategic advantages of the containerised data center solution: “Compared to traditional data centers, our modular units can be deployed within weeks, reducing construction time and cost, and enabling flexible placement for AI and telecom needs," he said.

Delta also showcased its efforts in integrating renewable energy and energy storage through microgrid technology, facilitating intelligent energy dispatch and stable power supply for data centers embracing sustainability.

At COMPUTEX 2025, visitors can explore Delta’s 'Greening Intelligence' zone featuring insights from a global sustainable AI report by Economist Impact, supported by Delta. The exhibit offers a comprehensive view of sustainable AI, from grid to chip, along with the debut of Delta’s new brand video, 'In You, In Me,' portraying a future where AI and data centers work in harmony toward sustainability.
