The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) is inviting bids for a 5 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic (PV) project over its Phase-IV network (Part-II), covering Line-08 Extension, Line-10, and Receiving Substations (RSS) in the National Capital.

The estimated contract value is INR 19.54 crore, and the project will be executed under the Renewable Energy Service Company (RESCO) model. The scope of work includes design, engineering, procurement, supply, storage, civil work, installation, testing, and commissioning (SITC) of the solar PV systems.

The successful bidder will also be responsible for operations and maintenance (O&M) for a period of 25 years. The bid opening date is July 3, 2025, with the final deadline for submission set for July 31, 2025. Interested bidders can access tender documents online to review the eligibility requirements, technical criteria, and scope of work.

With several rooftop and ground-mounted solar installations already in place, DMRC continues to integrate sustainability into urban mobility by leveraging solar energy to offset power demand and reduce emissions.

The tender will be awarded based on the lowest tariff offered, ensuring cost-effective power procurement while promoting India’s broader renewable energy goals.
