darya.ai Ltd, Tajikistan’s pioneer in sustainable AI infrastructure, has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with India’s Yotta Data Services, a leading provider of sovereign AI and hyperscale data center solutions, to develop Tajikistan’s first green AI data center in Darvoz.
The partnership marks a major step in advancing Tajikistan’s National AI Infrastructure Strategy, supporting the country’s goal of deriving 5 percent of its GDP from AI by 2040. The upcoming facility will be powered fully by renewable hydropower, reinforcing Tajikistan’s long-term commitment to clean, sustainable energy.
The Darvoz AI data center will serve as a regional hub for AI compute, pre-training, and inference workloads, catering to enterprises, government agencies, and research institutions. Startups will also gain access to state-of-the-art NVIDIA GPU clusters, fueling next-generation innovation across Central Asia.
“With Yotta, we’re taking a decisive step toward building sovereign and sustainable compute infrastructure,” said Kristina Zaalishvili, COO of darya.ai. “This collaboration will expand regional AI capacity while creating new opportunities in engineering, operations, and research," he added.
Sunil Gupta, Co-founder, MD and CEO of Yotta Data Services, added, “At Yotta, we believe AI must be both accessible and sustainable. Partnering with darya.ai allows us to bring green, high-performance compute to Central Asia, empowering enterprises, governments, and innovators alike.”
This initiative follows darya.ai’s launch of Tajikistan’s first NVIDIA H200 GPU cluster earlier this year, inaugurated under the patronage of President H.E. Emomali Rahmon. The Darvoz project marks the first phase of a multi-stage plan to position Tajikistan as a strategic bridge between South and Central Asia in the global AI supply chain.
Through this collaboration, darya.ai and Yotta aim to deliver scalable, energy-efficient AI infrastructure that supports responsible and affordable model training and deployment across sectors such as healthcare, finance, energy, and public services.
