Credence Solar has secured the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification for its latest high-power 730W TOPCon modules. This makes Credence the first Indian manufacturer to receive BIS approval for such high-wattage modules.

The certified modules are based on 210mm TOPCon technology, incorporating Credence’s 18BB (busbar) architecture in a Glass-to-Glass Bifacial format. These modules deliver superior efficiency, enhanced durability, and optimised energy generation.

This achievement comes as Credence Solar expands its manufacturing capabilities, ramping up its total production capacity to 2.2 GW. With a fully automated facility and cutting-edge machinery, the company continues to push the boundaries of PV module innovation, ensuring higher efficiency and reliability for utility-scale and commercial solar projects.

“With this BIS certification, we are proud to set a new standard for high-efficiency modules in India. Our 730W TOPCon modules showcase the company’s commitment to next-generation solar technology and will play a crucial role in accelerating India’s transition to clean energy,” said a spokesperson from Credence Solar.

The certification strengthens Credence Solar’s position in the market, enabling EPC players and developers to deploy high-efficiency Non-Domestic Content Requirement (NDCR) modules that meet global quality standards while supporting India's renewable energy growth.
