Cosmic Solar EPC Adds INR 574 Crore Solar EPC Orders, Appoints Avi Mittal as CEO

Cosmic Solar EPC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cosmic PV Power, has secured INR 574 crore in new solar EPC orders, commenced operations from its Mumbai corporate office and appointed Avi Mittal as CEO effective August 2026.

Cosmic Solar EPC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Cosmic PV Power, has announced three key developments as part of its growth strategy: the commencement of operations from its Mumbai corporate office, the appointment of Avi Mittal as Chief Executive Officer, and the addition of INR 574 crore in new solar EPC orders.

The newly secured orders, valued at INR 574 crore, strengthen the company's project execution pipeline and expand its presence in India's renewable energy market. Cosmic Solar EPC will provide end-to-end services covering engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations and maintenance for solar projects, stated the company.

The company has also commenced operations from its new corporate office in Chembur (East), Mumbai. It will serve as the company's strategic base for business development, customer engagement, project management and partnerships, particularly across Western and Central India. The new office complements Cosmic Solar EPC's registered office in Surat, Gujarat, and is intended to strengthen regional customer engagement and project execution capabilities.

Alongside the expansion, Avi Mittal has taken charge as CEO with effect from August 2026. Mittal brings experience across renewable energy, infrastructure, manufacturing and strategic investments. As CEO, he will lead the company's next phase of expansion, with a focus on operational efficiency, technology adoption, strategic partnerships and the delivery of renewable energy solutions.

The fresh order wins are expected to strengthen Cosmic Group's project portfolio and reflect growing demand for its solar engineering and execution capabilities. The company stated that it will continue to expand its presence across India through its integrated EPC capabilities and focus on project quality and execution.
