Coal India tenders 100 MW solar Plant work in Gujarat
Coal India Limited (CIL) the state-owned coal mining corporate seeking the bidders until April 15 to lodge their interest in the grid-connected solar project, which must be commissioned within a year from the award of contract.

A state-owned coal mining Coal India Limited (CIL), corporate, has issued a tender – seeking developers for undertaking the work of engineering, procurement and construction for a 100 MW grid-connected solar project in Gujarat.
Scope of Work: Acquisition and Handover of Land, Design, Engineering, Supply and Procurement, Construction, Erection, Testing, Commissioning, Operation and Maintenance of Solar Photovoltaic Grid-Connected Power Plant of capacity 100 MW(AC) including Evacuation Infrastructure in Gujarat
As per the tender document, the successful bidder’s scope of work includes “acquisition and handover of land, design, engineering, supply and procurement, construction, erection, testing, commissioning and operation and maintenance of the solar plant, including evacuation infrastructure.”
The total contract period is 6 years, including a project completion period of 1 year from the award of contract and 5 years of operation and maintenance from the operation date.
