Cliantech Secures 1.2 GW AI-Driven Solar Module Production Line Order from IB Solar

Cliantech Solutions has received a 1.2 GW order from IB Solar for an AI-driven solar module production line, capable of manufacturing advanced M10 TOPCon, M10R, and G12R solar modules. The line is scheduled to be commissioned by May 2026.

Solar PV module and cell manufacturing equipment supplier Cliantech Solutions has announced that the company has secured a 1.2 GW order for its AI-driven solar module production line from IB Solar. The line is scheduled to be commissioned by May 2026.

The latest order builds on the 600 MW module capacity already commissioned by Cliantech for the company, taking the total installed capacity delivered to 1.8 GW.

Under the new agreement, Cliantech will supply and integrate a state-of-the-art production line capable of manufacturing advanced M10 TOPCon, M10R, and G12R solar modules. The deployment will enable IB Solar to enhance its portfolio with next-generation, high-efficiency products while leveraging Cliantech’s automation-driven manufacturing solutions.

The production line will incorporate advanced automation and inspection systems sourced from global equipment providers, including Gaorun for line automation, Visual for laminators, and Asicpy for electroluminescence testers.

Cliantech stated that the integration of these technologies will significantly improve production accuracy, operational efficiency, and overall module quality.

IB Solar stated that it plans to scale its module manufacturing capacity to 5 GW through a fully automated production line and add solar cell manufacturing to support backward integration.

With over 60 GW of solar manufacturing equipment installed across India, Cliantech continues to position itself as a key enabler of domestic solar manufacturing. The company’s turnkey production solutions and focus on automation are designed to help manufacturers scale operations and enhance global competitiveness.

The repeat order from IB Solar highlights growing confidence in Cliantech’s capabilities as Indian manufacturers accelerate capacity expansion.

As demand from utility-scale and rooftop solar projects continues to rise, investments in advanced, automated production infrastructure are becoming central to industry growth.
