Chhattisgarh Attracts INR 9,580 Cr Investment Proposals at Investor Connect in Hyderabad

Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth INR 9,580 crore at the State 'Investor Connect' programme held in Hyderabad, with strong interest in renewable energy and semiconductors, followed by other industrial sectors.

Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai said that seven companies submitted proposals that could generate around 7,800 direct jobs, highlighting rising investor interest in the state’s industrial and technology ecosystem.

In the renewable energy segment, SG Mart proposed INR 700 crore for solar energy equipment manufacturing, expected to create around 450 jobs. In the semiconductor space, Nivai Labs proposed INR 1,000 crore for GPU and advanced electronics infrastructure, likely generating about 200 jobs.

Other major proposals included Hypernext Data Centre’s INR 4,200 crore investment for a data centre project (250 jobs), Feegrade and Company’s INR 2,912 crore cement project (around 4,000 jobs), and Saravana Mills’ INR 528 crore textile investment (about 2,500 jobs).

Additional proposals came from Kabra Drugs (INR 200 crore) and Dinshaw’s Dairy Foods (INR 40 crore). Sai said that the state was witnessing rising investor confidence due to improved infrastructure, streamlined approvals and policy support, adding that Chhattisgarh is also strengthening its presence in green steel and has received INR 3.5 lakh crore energy sector proposals.
