CG Bags INR 900 Cr Power Transformers Supply Order from Tallgrass for Data Center Project in US
CG Power and Industrial Solutions has secured an INR 900 crore order from Tallgrass Integrated Logistics Solutions to supply power transformers for a large-scale hyperscale data center project in the US.

Under the contract, CG will supply power transformers, specifically engineered to meet the stringent reliability, efficiency and uptime requirements of hyperscale data center applications. This order will be executed over a delivery period of 12 to 20 months, the company stated.
Amar Kaul, Global CEO and Managing Director, CG Power and Industrial Solutions, said, “This landmark order from Tallgrass is a strategic platform win for CG and marks our entry into the rapidly growing global data center vertical. It validates our capability to deliver globally benchmarked, mission-critical technology solutions from India, and reinforces our position as a trusted global partner in applications where reliability and performance are non-negotiable.”
He further added, “The global shift toward cloud computing, Al, and digital infrastructure is fundamentally reshaping the power demand. We believe this win opens up a significant long-term opportunity pipeline in global data center projects, aligned with our global growth and margin-accretive expansion strategy.”
These transformers will be designed, manufactured, and tested at CG’s state-of-the-art facilities in India, the company stated.
