Infrastructure EPC company Ceigall India has announced that the company has received a letter of award (LoA) from Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) to develop solar PV power generating stations of an aggregate capacity of 147 MW (AC) in two districts of Maharashtra under the Mukhyamantri Saur Krushi Vahini Yojana 2.0 Scheme.

The projects must be executed within 18 months, and the duration of the power purchase agreement will be 25 years, the company stated in a regulatory filing.

It further added that the EPC cost for the projects would amount to about INR 597 crore.

Last month, the company announced its foray into the renewable energy space, securing two Letters of Intent (LOIs) from MSEDCL for the procurement of solar power – one of the LoIs was for 147 MW (AC) capacity.

Further, the company bagged 220 MW capacity at a record low tariff of INR 2.70/kWh from Rewa Ultra Mega Solar (RUMSL) for solar plus storage project in Morena, Madhya Pradesh.
