BPE Appoints A. Prabhu as Executive Director for Technical Operations

Best Power Equipments, India (BPE), a provider of power, energy storage and critical infrastructure solutions, has recently announced the appointment of A. Prabhu as Executive Director- Technical (Global Operations). The move marks a strategic step in reinforcing the company’s global technical capabilities and supporting its transformation into an integrated energy storage and energy management solutions provider.

In his new role, he will be responsible for global technical operations and strategy, focusing on engineering excellence, project execution and sustainability-driven innovation. His leadership is expected to align BPE’s technology roadmap with global energy transition trends, evolving customer requirements and environmental priorities.

Prabhu brings over 25 years of experience across the telecom, data centre and energy sectors, having played a key role in building high-availability, mission-critical infrastructure across multiple markets. His career spans senior leadership roles at Bharti Airtel, Airtel International LLP (Africa operations), Nxtra Data, Telenor and Aircel, where he led large-scale technology modernisation and energy efficiency initiatives.
