Bosch lifts the lockout at its Jaipur Plant
Commits to work with Union to find speedy resolution to ongoing wage-settlement negotiation

Bosch Limited has informed the Government of Rajasthan that it would lift the lockout at its Jaipur plant. After a tripartite deliberation, involving the Labor department and Union, a commitment was sought from the Union of Bosch Jaipur plant to immediately stop the hunger strike and to withdraw the Go-slow action, which began from March 19, 2015 without a notice being issued. The Go-slow action put into effect by the Union had reduced production output by up to 70 percent of normal levels. The Union has agreed to a first level of increased output targets.
Valuing the commitment Bosch has made towards its customers, the company had ensured that customers were not impacted by the lockout. During the phase of the lockout, production had continued with officers and trainee workmen. The management at Bosch Limited acknowledges the efforts invested by the State Govt. of Rajasthan, specifically the labor department. Their balanced support and intervention has helped find a speedy resolution to this impasse.
