India’s intra-city logistics landscape is undergoing a rapid transformation. As e-commerce, quick commerce, D2C brands and SMEs increasingly seek faster movement of larger shipments within cities, the demand for cargo-focused three-wheeler and four-wheeler deliveries has witnessed a significant rise.

Addressing this evolving need, Borzo WeFast, an intra-city delivery platform for individuals and businesses, has announced the expansion of its 3-wheeler and 4-wheeler delivery network, marking a step towards its larger ambition of becoming India’s integrated intra-city logistics super app, enabling every movement, from a small parcel to large cargo, through one seamless platform.

The announcement follows a successful nine-month pilot in Mumbai, where Borzo WeFast completed nearly 1,00,000 3W and 4W deliveries. The pilot saw strong market validation with 5000 plus active customers adopting the service in its initial phase and nearly 80 percent customer retention, reinforcing the growing demand for reliable same-day large-format deliveries.

The company currently completes over 12 lakh deliveries every month across India, serving a customer base of over 4 lakh users.

The demand for larger vehicle solutions is being driven by a wide range of businesses, including SMEs, D2C brands, food chains, bakeries, home décor brands, fashion labels, personal care companies, wellness businesses, pharmaceutical chains, grocery retailers and quick commerce players, many of whom increasingly require time-sensitive intra-city transportation for bulkier shipments.

Speaking on the announcement, Darryl Dias, Country Head of Borzo, WeFast, said, "The future of intra-city logistics lies in providing individuals and businesses access to every delivery requirement through a single, intelligent platform. At Borzo WeFast, our vision is to become the go-to super app for intra-city logistics, where a customer can move anything, from documents and parcels to large shipments, at the speed today’s economy demands. Our Mumbai pilot provided valuable insights into customer behaviour, supply-demand optimisation and operational efficiency. The positive customer response validates the immense opportunity in the larger vehicle delivery segment, and we are now ready to scale this capability across India."

Borzo WeFast plans to use the learnings from Mumbai to expand the service to Delhi NCR and Bengaluru by mid-2027, with an initial target of onboarding around 10,000 active delivery partners in each city and further scaling the network by the end of 2028. The company’s long-term ambition is to build a comprehensive intra-city logistics ecosystem across major urban centres in India.

The company is also adopting a technology-first and future-ready fleet strategy, remaining open to all vehicle formats while actively encouraging driver partners to transition towards electric vehicles. Borzo WeFast is simultaneously exploring partnerships with EV-focused fleet operators to build a more sustainable last-mile logistics ecosystem.

With larger vehicle deliveries expected to contribute 30 percent of Borzo WeFast’s total delivery volumes by the end of 2027, the company is positioning itself to capture the next phase of growth in India’s rapidly evolving hyperlocal logistics market.
