Boond Secures Funding from SBI for Upcoming Solar Projects

Boond Solar, an arm of Boond Engineering & Development Pvt Ltd, has recently received funding for its upcoming solar projects under Opex mode from the country’s largest lender State Bank of India (SBI), as told by Ankit Malhotra, Senior Vice President, Boond Solar to Energetica India.

However, the company didn’t disclose the funding amount.

New Delhi-headquartered company will install solar projects for its Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers for a behind-the-meter segment.

Moreover, the company is targeting to use the received funding to set up solar energy plants across the country within this financial year.

This financing win is a significant achievement for the company and it has committed to delivering its best for the projects.

Boond Solar has specialization in providing customized solar solutions across the spectrum of solar energy solutions, such as grid-interactive rooftop solar, distributed renewable energy (mini/microgrids), and standalone solutions (SHS and customized livelihood solutions).

It has presence in states like Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi NCR and other Northern states and now expanding its base to Eastern and North Eastern states in the country. The company also forayed into neighbouring country Bangladesh through its sister concern Boond Engineering Bangladesh Pvt Ltd and is presently developing projects in Bangladesh as well.
