Bondada Engineering Receives CEA Approval for Energisation of 300 MW Khavda Solar Project
Bondada Engineering has received CEA approval for energisation of a 300 MW solar project at Khavda, Gujarat, being executed on an EPC basis for NLC India Renewables.

Bondada Engineering has announced that the company has received approval for energisation from the Central Electricity Authority (CEA) in respect of a 300 MW grid-connected solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
The project is being executed by the company on an Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis for NLC India Renewables, stated the company in a regulatory filing.
“This approval marks a significant project milestone and paves the way for energisation of the solar power plant, to add 300 MW of Solar power to the grid. It further reflects the company's strong execution capabilities in delivering large-scale renewable energy infrastructure projects for leading Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs),” the company said.
Earlier this week, Bondada Engineering secured an NTPC Renewable Energy contract to develop a 100 MWh Vanadium Redox Flow Battery Energy Storage System at Khavda Solar Park in Gujarat, marking India's largest grid-scale VRFB project. Delectrik Systems will be associated in the project as a technology partner.
Last month, the company secured an INR 1,338 crore EPC contract from NTPC REL for a 250 MW solar photovoltaic project coupled with a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) in Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.
In May 2026, Bondada Engineering received orders worth INR 469.52 crore from the Adani Group for Balance of System works on a 250 MW solar power project at Khavda, Gujarat.
The company has a solar EPC order book of around 5.5 GWp, while its BESS order book has reached approximately 1.2 GWh.
