BluPine Energy Signs Open Access PPAs with Craftsman Automation, Sunbeam Lightweighting
BluPine Energy has signed long-term Open Access Power Purchase Agreements with Craftsman Automation and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions to supply 21 MWp of solar power from its Rajasthan project for captive consumption.

BluPine Energy has announced the signing of long-term Open Access Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) with Craftsman Automation and Sunbeam Lightweighting Solutions for its Rajasthan solar project.
Under the agreements, the company will supply 21 MWp of solar power to the manufacturing facilities of the two companies to meet their captive renewable energy requirements. The project will be developed in accordance with the captive provisions of the Electricity Act, 2003, the company stated.
It further added that the partnerships strengthen its Commercial and Industrial (C&I) portfolio, with all its currently contracted offtakers in Rajasthan carrying credit ratings of AA or above, reflecting a portfolio of long-term, high-quality customer relationships.
BluPine Energy said that the project will support the decarbonisation of manufacturing operations by enabling the adoption of clean energy while helping the companies meet their sustainability goals. The company added that it remains focused on delivering reliable renewable energy solutions to support India's industrial sector in its transition towards cleaner and more sustainable operations.
BluPine Energy has around 1.5 GW of operational renewable energy capacity and has a long-term ambition to build a 4+ GW renewable energy platform in India.
