Binaya Bhusan Panda Appointed CEO of Avener Capital

Panda’s track record spans thermal, solar, wind (ISTS), cement, T&D substations, and regulatory frameworks, with a major focus on renewable energy over the last decade.

Avener Capital has appointed Binaya Bhusan Panda as its new Chief Executive Officer. With over 22 years of diverse experience across the energy sector, Panda steps into the role with a clear mission: to accelerate India’s transition to clean and sustainable energy.

In a statement shared on social media, Panda expressed his commitment to innovation and operational excellence. “With a strong focus on driving innovation, operational excellence, and sustainable growth, I look forward to lead Avener’s journey in accelerating India’s clean energy transformation. Together with a passionate team, we aim to scale renewable solutions and soar to new heights,” he said.

Panda’s track record spans thermal, solar, wind (ISTS), cement, T&D substations, and regulatory frameworks, with a major focus on renewable energy over the last decade. He is widely recognised for his strategic leadership and proficiency in managing complex operations, contract management, budgeting, and regulatory compliance.

Prior to joining Avener, Panda served as Chief Operating Officer at Gensol Engineering Limited. He also played a key role in shaping the renewable energy strategy at the Aditya Birla Group as the head of its Business Planning and Strategy Cell. His career includes noteworthy positions at major industry players such as Welspun, Lanco, Avantha, and Gridco.
