BikeWo Green Tech has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to acquire a majority stake in ENlite EV Care, an electric vehicle service and maintenance company. The proposed acquisition marks a step towards expanding BikeWo's integrated electric mobility ecosystem by adding organised vehicle servicing, maintenance and lifecycle support to its growing portfolio.
As electric vehicle adoption gains momentum across commercial segments such as last-mile delivery, logistics and fleet mobility, dependable after-sales infrastructure has become increasingly critical for ensuring vehicle availability and operational efficiency. Through the proposed acquisition, BikeWo intends to establish a network of EV Care Centres dedicated primarily to B2B customers and commercial electric vehicle fleets.
The proposed EV Care Centres will provide a suite of services, including preventive maintenance, diagnostics, repairs, battery and electrical system support, periodic servicing and fleet uptime management. The initiative is expected to help fleet operators minimise downtime, improve vehicle performance and optimise operating costs through reliable and technology-enabled service support.
BikeWo and ENlite EV Care also plan to jointly evaluate suitable locations and operating models for the proposed EV Care Centres. The companies intend to integrate digital capabilities such as vehicle health monitoring, predictive maintenance, service scheduling, digital maintenance records and fleet performance tracking to create a more efficient and data-driven service ecosystem.
Commenting on the development, Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer, BikeWo Green Tech, said, "As we prepare to scale our electric mobility operations, building a dependable service and maintenance ecosystem is equally important as expanding vehicle deployment. The proposed acquisition of ENlite EV Care represents a strategic step towards strengthening our capabilities across the EV value chain. By integrating vehicle maintenance and lifecycle support into our mobility platform, we aim to improve fleet uptime, enhance service quality and deliver greater operational efficiency for commercial fleet operators. We believe this capability will further strengthen BikeWo's vision of building a comprehensive and scalable electric mobility ecosystem."
The proposed acquisition aligns with BikeWo's long-term strategy of building capabilities across electric mobility, fleet operations, logistics infrastructure, technology and renewable energy. By integrating vehicle deployment with organised maintenance and lifecycle management, the company aims to create a more resilient and scalable platform capable of supporting the evolving requirements of India's commercial electric mobility sector.
The proposed transaction is subject to satisfactory due diligence, valuation, negotiation and execution of definitive agreements, along with receipt of applicable corporate, statutory and regulatory approvals.
