BikeWo Green Tech Ltd. has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Green Drive Auto Services Pvt. Ltd., which operates as Green Drive Mobility, to expand electric logistics operations across India, with a target of deploying at least 5,000 electric trucks over the coming years.
The proposed partnership will focus on last-mile, mid-mile, first-mile and long-haul freight transportation. The companies plan to combine their capabilities in fleet operations, financing, institutional partnerships and technology to expand the use of electric vehicles in logistics.
Green Drive Mobility currently operates more than 350 electric trucks and approximately 8,000 electric two-wheelers. Its truck logistics clients include More Retail, DHL and Gati, among others. The company also provides electric two-wheeler delivery services to quick-commerce businesses through the Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) ecosystem.
Under the proposed arrangement, BikeWo intends to invest up to ₹150 crore in Green Drive Mobility over the coming years. The investment will be subject to mutually agreed commercial terms, business requirements, necessary approvals and definitive agreements.
The proposed funding is expected to support fleet expansion, technology integration, operational infrastructure and the development of new institutional logistics opportunities. The companies also plan to expand their geographic reach and strengthen relationships with enterprise customers.
A key area of collaboration will be the deployment of electric trucks for industrial freight, retail distribution, regional transportation and long-haul logistics. The companies aim to develop fleet operations that can support these applications while building a commercially sustainable electric logistics business.
Hiten Pal Saklani, Chief Executive Officer of BikeWo Green Tech, said that the partnership would combine BikeWo's investment and institutional partnership capabilities with Green Drive Mobility's operating infrastructure and established enterprise relationships. He said that the companies aimed to build a platform spanning first-mile, mid-mile, last-mile and long-haul transportation, with a target of at least 5,000 electric trucks.
Ala Harikrishna, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Green Drive Mobility, said that the collaboration would help the company expand its operations, strengthen its fleet deployment capabilities and serve a wider institutional customer base.
The agreement aligns with BikeWo's broader strategy of developing an integrated electric mobility and logistics platform covering fleet ownership, leasing, operations and strategic partnerships.
However, the MoU does not specify a detailed investment schedule or vehicle deployment timeline. The companies said that further details on investment structures, deployment schedules and implementation milestones would be communicated later.
