BikeWo Appoints Automotive Veteran Sumanth Badiga to Advisory Board

BikeWo Green Tech Ltd.  has appointed Sumanth Badiga, an automotive industry veteran with more than three decades of experience in the automotive and commercial vehicle sectors, to its Advisory Board as the company expands its enterprise mobility and logistics operations.

Badiga currently serves as Managing Director of Jasper Industries, part of the Jasper Automotive Group. He has experience across commercial and passenger vehicles, OEM relationships, vehicle distribution, after-sales operations and large-scale automotive businesses. He is also Chairman of Adithya Automotive Applications, where his experience includes truck applications, vehicle body solutions, trailers, tippers and specialised transportation requirements.

His career also includes senior leadership experience within the Tata automotive ecosystem, giving him experience in OEM operations, commercial vehicle markets and the requirements of fleet and enterprise customers.

As a member of BikeWo’s Advisory Board, Badiga will advise the company on commercial vehicle strategy, fleet development, OEM and industry partnerships, vehicle procurement and deployment, enterprise customer relationships and specialised logistics applications. BikeWo is expanding its integrated mobility and logistics capabilities across last-mile, mid-mile and long-mile transportation.

BikeWo CEO Hiten Pal Saklani said that the company is expanding beyond traditional last-mile mobility towards an integrated enterprise logistics and transportation platform. He said that Badiga’s experience across OEMs, vehicle distribution, fleet applications and the automotive value chain would provide guidance as the company develops partnerships and solutions for enterprises and logistics operators.
