Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd (BHEL) has announced it has bagged a Rs. 200 crore order for Renovation, Modernisation & Uprating of Chilla Hydro Electric Plant from Uttarakhand Jal Vidyut Nigam Limited (UJVNL).
The order covers four units of 36 Megawatt capacity each at the Chilla hydro project.
"The units at Chilla HEP have been in operation for more than 35 years and the RM&U of these units will result in upgradation of output capacity, additional generation and efficiency improvement," BHEL said in a statement.
