Bhaskar Jyoti Commissions 1.3 MW Solar Project for MES at Rajasthan Military Stations

Bhaskar Jyoti India commissioned a 1.3 MW grid-connected solar project for MES in Rajasthan under an INR 87.82 million contract, supplying clean power to Niwaru, Bhakrota and Jaipur Military Stations.

Bhaskar Jyoti India Pvt.Ltd.has commissioned a 1.3 MW grid-connected solar power project for the Military Engineer Services (MES), Chief Engineer, Jaipur Zone, across the Niwaru, Bhakrota and Jaipur Military Stations in Rajasthan.

The project was awarded to the company through a competitive tender issued in February 2024 and has been executed at a total contract value of INE 87.82 million (about $1.03 million). Bhaskar Jyoti implemented the project on a turnkey basis, covering engineering, procurement, installation, testing and commissioning.

With the project now operational, the solar power system is supplying renewable electricity to key defence facilities, helping reduce reliance on conventional power sources and supporting the Indian Armed Forces’ energy efficiency and sustainability objectives.

Commenting on the development, Nitesh Gupta, Managing Director, Bhaskar Jyoti India Pvt. Ltd.,, said that the successful commissioning highlights the company’s execution strength and focus on quality delivery for institutional clients. “The successful commissioning of this project reflects our strong execution capabilities and commitment to delivering high-quality renewable energy solutions for institutional and strategic clients. We are honoured to contribute to the nation’s defence infrastructure through this clean energy initiative,” he said.

According to the company, the project is expected to contribute to lower carbon emissions, reduced operational power costs, and improved long-term energy security for the military stations. Bhaskar Jyoti will also provide operation and maintenance services to ensure consistent system performance and reliability.
