Bharat Petroleum Steps Into Its 40th Foundation Year with The Bharat Energising Awards

Bharat Petroleum has announced that it will be celebrating its 40^th Foundation year – the Ruby Anniversary on 24^th January 2016. Commemorating the Ruby Anniversary this year BPCL has instituted Bharat Energizing Award at TATA Theatre on January 24^th, 2016.  The much anticipated event felicitates individuals and group of individuals who have made exceptional contributions in the field of primary education, skill development, water conversation, rural health, women’s empowerment and renewable energy. 

Over the years, Bharat Petroleum has been actively engaged and involved in corporate social responsibility in fields that align with their corporate vision and philosophy.

The nominations of the selected recipients are chosen by experts on the basis of rigorous and impactful efforts made by the individuals in their areas of expertise.

The award ceremony will be opened by the accomplished Bharatanatyam dancer, Sudha Chandran’s special performance on Ganesh Vandanafollowed by the presentation of awards and address by Shri. Dharmendra Pradhan, the HonorableMinister of State(I/C) for Petroleum and Natural Gas.

The Bharat Energizing Awards nominee’s selection is done through a stringent procedure by experts in the industry analysts from KPMG on the basis of performance measurements that is been validated and presented before an eminent jury who will select the final six.

The best-in-class players will be awarded by Rs. 2.5 Lakhs in each category.
