Bank of Baroda Raises INR 10,000 Crore via Long-Term Green Infrastructure Bonds
Bank of Baroda has raised INR 10,000 crore through the issuance of 7.10 percent seven-year green infrastructure bonds, fully subscribed via the National Stock Exchange of India EBP platform.

Bank of Baroda has announced the allotment of INR 10,000 crore worth of 7.10 percent long-term green infrastructure bonds, issued as senior, rated, listed, unsecured, redeemable and non-convertible debentures.
According to a regulatory filing, the bank issued 10,00,000 bonds with a face value of INR 1 lakh each under Series I. The bonds carry a tenure of seven years and were issued through the electronic book provider platform of the National Stock Exchange of India. The issue comprised a base size of INR 5,000 crore along with a greenshoe option of INR 5,000 crore, both of which were fully subscribed.
The issue was opened and closed on March 4, 2026, through the National Stock Exchange of India Electronic Book Provider (EBP) platform, with the allotment completed on March 5, 2026. The bonds were subscribed by 15 allottees.
The issuance forms part of Bank of Baroda’s green financing initiatives aimed at supporting infrastructure projects aligned with sustainable and climate-focused development.
