NAAFCO, a leading pharmaceutical company in Bangladesh, has chosen the latest N-type technology solar modules to power its operations with clean energy.

Further, the massive rooftop solar installation was done by Dana Power - a reputed EPC company in Bangladesh. The installation houses 1.5 MWp DC of the 555W Tiger Neo Monofacial modules.

NAAFCO has been a leading brand in crop nutrition, plant protection, seeds, consumer products, animal health and human health. Its core business is the manufacturing of tablets, capsules, powders, oral liquids, etc.

This installation would help NAAFCO in offsetting its carbon footprint to an extent and run its operations on clean solar power.

Moreover, the project is expected to achieve commercial operation within January this year.

Commenting on the development, Daniel Liu, MD – South & Central Asia, Jinko Solar, said, “Healthcare remains the single most primary concern today for mankind and access to medicine is one critical area for people in developing countries. We are both happy and proud that our products are in a way helping solve this issue in a green and clean way. We really value this association with NAAFCO and our EPC partner, Dana Power.”

Jinko Solar is gaining a lot of recognition in the Bangladeshi market owing to this project and this is the country’s first-ever N-Type installation featuring Jinko’s Tiger Neo panels. The company has serious plans to keep on expanding its project footprint in the country with its N-type modules and newly launched ESS solutions.
