Bangladesh Releases Tender For Solar Power Projects worth 50-60 MW

The project developer will be chosen through a competitive bidding process. The elected project developer will be requisite to organize the financing of the project and will develop the projects on a build, own operate (BOO) basis for a period of 20 years

The Bangladesh Power Development Board (BPDB) has announced that it has released a tender for setting up 50-60 MW of grid-connected solar PV projects at Rangunia, Chattogram.

The project developer will be chosen through a competitive bidding process. The elected project developer will be requisite to organize the financing of the project and will develop the projects on a build, own operate (BOO) basis for a period of 20 years.

The last date for the submission of bids is March 14, 2019. And each bidder will be necessary to submit a bid security amount of $5,000 (Rs.3,56,074)/MW. Each bidder can present only one bid either as a company or a member of a bidder consortium.
